Biographical Information:
Has appeared in operas, recitals, concerts, and on college concert tours. Gave the U.S. premiere of Schumann's Des Sangers Fluch. Master classes: Symposium on the Care of the Professional Voice at Aspen Music Festival, Metropolitan Opera Auditions, Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition (Brussels), Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and Korean Broadcasting System. Summer programs: Ravinia Festival Steans Institute, Bel Canto Institute (Florence), Aspen Music Festival. Judge: Concert Artists Guild, Metropolitan Opera Auditions, Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition. Auditor for N.Y.S. Council on the Arts. Faculty: Manhattan School of Music since 1983, N.Y.U. since 2000, Bard College Conservatory Graduate Program in Vocal Arts since 2006.
