Intelligent observations from this intelligent artist. He
seems to be aware of how sad it is that, having the voice,
the physique and the histrionic talent to be the ideal
interpreter of Wagner's romantic hero, he is thrown on to a
ramshackle stage set wearing T shirt and sneakers in what is
evidently not a rehearsal but what the actual
production of this LOHENGRIN looks like. The grace and
dedication exhibited are beyond praise.
