I don't think she is going to last. Radio is still a mechanical idiom. To record properly, The Met is going to need a man, for the additional overtones. Her voice, though distinguished, did not carry, have the colour of a presenter. Do listen to Classic FM's (London) presenters, most sound like prize fighters, these colours carry. Her career will be short lived.
